Walking Group
On Tuesday 15th July the walking group drove down to Daymer Bay and
walked the coastal path to Rock, caught the ferry over to Padstow and
walked up to the war memorial for a picnic lunch. After lunch some
walked on round the coast to Hawkers Cove whilst others browsed the
shops in Padstow.
Our return took us across the golf course at St Enodoc to the little
church where John Betjeman is buried and then back to our cars.
A day which started out very misty and a bit wet, but eventually came
(almost) good - a glimmer of sunshine at one point, but enjoyed by all.
